We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Monday, October 26, 2015.
The latest AP poll of Republican voters finds that those voters believe Donald Trump is the most electable GOP candidate running for President!
The polls are heating up and the race for the GOP nomination has turned into a two-horse race (for now), as Dr. Ben Carson continues to gain (and even pass) Donald Trump across the country. In Oklahoma, Carson has surged ahead to a 6-point lead. In Iowa, the latest polls seem to show the race neck and neck at 27%. However, in New Hampshire Trump continues to hold a command 26-point lead over his neophyte competition. Trump also continues to lead big in the important primary state of South Carolina as well.
CBS poll has Trump at 38% in New Hampshire, Carson at 12% and Jeb at 8%

Donald Trump should be careful that he doesn’t wake a “sleeping” giant. Trump has been mocking Dr. Ben Carson, calling the GOP candidate “super low energy,” but Carson isn’t letting the sleight go by unnoticed, responding “I do have a tendency to be relaxed. I wasn’t always like that. There was a time when I was, you know, very volatile… I have plenty of energy.”
Man, the Bush family sure is getting vocal about the 2016 race. Just last week, former President George W. Bush told a crowd of important conservative activists that he didn’t like Ted Cruz (a man who has always spoken glowingly about the Bush family), and now former President George H.W. Bush is complaining about everyone else!
President Barack Obama’s climate change posturing and rhetoric is incredibly hypocritical.
Is Moscow telling the truth? Russia is now offering the Syrian rebels Air Support in their fight against ISIS. A recent survey of Russia’s military involvement in Syria thus far found that 4 of 5 Russian assaults were against the rebels (and not ISIS). This begs the question… what game is Russia playing in Syria?
