We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. A slate of new polling data has the Donald Trump campaign worrying and the [score]Ted Cruz[/score] campaign hoping.
The latest Fox News Poll shows that Ted Cruz has surged nationally and is now within 3% of Donald Trump among GOP voters. Cruz remains dominant among conservatives, while Trump leads among other GOP voters. The same poll also shows Cruz leading Hillary Clinton in a possible presidential showdown, but Trump easily being bested by either Clinton or Sanders.
Other polls also show the gap closing – but give Mr. Trump a far larger cushion than the Fox News poll does.

The last bit of polling we want to cover comes from CNN and it’s not good news for either Donald Trump or the GOP. CNN is now reporting that a full 35% of Republican (and leaner) voters will vote for a 3rd Party candidate if Donald Trump is the GOP candidate!
If Donald Trump wants to be the GOP nominee, he must win a majority of the delegates in the primary.
Yes, Donald Trump could beat Hillary Clinton one-on-one. Liberal columnist Camille Paglia believes that a Trump-Clinton battle would be a ‘national nightmare’ the likes our nation has never seen. What will the GOP look like when the Trumpquake is over?
