What We’re Reading March 2, 2016

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Wednesday, March 2, 2016.

What is going on in the GOP race for the nomination?

There is every reason to believe in Senator [score]Ted Cruz[/score].

The New York Times has audio from an interview they did with Donald Trump where he admitted that he wasn’t serious about the things that he says on illegal immigration. Apparently, everything is negotiable. In response to this story, Mr. Trump is now saying that (while he won’t ask for the Times to release the “off the record” transcripts), he didn’t really say anything shocking at all.

Earlier this month Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan praised Donald Trump for his willingness to stand against the “Jewish community.”

A group of about 30 black students say they were unfairly ejected from a Donald Trump campaign rally in Valdosta, Georgia. Why does Trump’s message seem to resonate with white supremacists?

Ted Cruz supporters are still wondering how it is that Donald Trump was able to steal the South from Senator Cruz.

The media seems to know more than the government officials who are supposed to be briefing them on what is going on inside the Obama administration! Recently, one spokesman even wondered why he had to be at the briefing at all!

The GOP Establishment refuses to rethink their strategy, and it may very well lead to their end.

“Bernie” [score]Bernard Sanders[/score] applied for conscientious objector status during the Vietnam War in an effort to avoid the draft.

Whoa. Justice Clarence Thomas spoke out in Court for the first time in ten years… and boy was it a big deal.
