What We’re Reading June 19, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

Rush Limbaugh thinks some conservatives are too tough on Donald Trump and not tough enough on Hillary Clinton.

“If the conservative media would hit Hillary with one-tenth of what they’re hitting Trump with, it might matter! It’s incredible. Hillary Clinton gets more respect than Trump gets from the conservative media.”

Jeb Bush was stumping through Iowa where he made an impassioned plea for voters to support him and to support his call for amnesty as part of comprehensive immigration reform.

“I’m a committed conservative, a reformer. I have a record, and I’m going to share that record each and every day, and I’m going to do it with joy in my heart. I’m going to do it with love for this country. I’m going to do it in a way that draws people toward our cause,” Bush said.

“Here’s the deal—Democrats win with this politically. If we just keep this lingering forever and ever, it’s a wedge issue that at least for the last two presidential races, we’ve lost,” Bush said. “I want to win!”

The recent hack of the civilian-run OPM was an “absolute calamity” according to military officials.

Now the government has admitted that they may not have followed their own cyberspace rules and that may have left the door open for the Chinese to hack us.

Ironic. Alexander Hamilton, the father of the national bank and the man who dreamed up our single currency will soon no longer be on that currency. Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson, who destroyed the first national bank and hated our monetary system… will remain on the $20 bill.
