What We’re Reading July 13, 2016

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

Bernie Sanders’s supporters are furious that he sold out. He just endorsed Hillary.

Can’t beat the Drudge headline: “Lynch Won’t Flinch During Hill Grill”… “Loretta Lynch said Tuesday she won’t answer any more questions about her decision not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for her mishandling of classified information, saying only that it would be ‘inappropriate’ for her to get into details. “

Another cop shooting, this time in D.C.: “…five subjects in an SUV fired shots at officers. Officers returned fire and the subjects barricaded themselves in the vehicle.

Another in Missouri… “…shot from behind.”

Alton Sterling reached for a gun before he got shot.

Presidents Obama and Bush spoke at the memorial for fallen Dallas cops.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg bashes Donald Trump: “He is a faker,” Ginsburg said of Trump on Monday to CNN. “He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego. … How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns? The press seems to be very gentle with him on that.”

Audio recordings show that the officer who pulled Philando Castile over and shot him mistook him for a robbery suspect. Apparently, Castile was not a robbery suspect after all.

Coincidence? Potential Trump VP changed his position on abortion. Now he says he’s a “pro-life Democrat.”
