What We’re Reading July 13, 2015

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Monday, July 13, 2015.

Trending: Obama Forgot He is No Longer President, Shows Up at G20 Summit

Pope Francis is at it again – bashing capitalism as evil. Sadly, the Roman Catholic Church leader seems to have missed the obvious in his historical studies – capitalism has done more to lift humans out of poverty, sickness and death than any other single (or even group of) factors in history.

The Wall Street Journal notices a link between the IRS’s Lois Lerner and the liberals in Wisconsin who were also trying to use political and criminal power to shut down conservatives. If a link can indeed be proven, it would argue that there may be a larger concerted effort by liberal forces to shut down conservative speech in America by any means necessary. And that is a very scary scenario indeed.

Former New York politician Anthony Weiner (D-NY) has one very important question for Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Still, I have one major question for Bernie. What exactly does he think he’s doing in a Democratic presidential primary? Why is he asking for the nomination of a party he always avoided joining?

The current WHINO vote has settled on GOP upstart Donald Trump.

In Texas Hundreds of people have organized a “Counter Jade Helm” surveillance operation across the Southwestern states and in an effort to keep an eye on the contentious military drill that’s sparked many suspicious of Uncle Sam’s intentions.

Donald Trump sure is getting noticed these days – his rhetoric is sparking a wide range of emotions from Americans all across the country.

Meanwhile, Marco Rubio seems to be a candidate without a base, and because of this he has cast a wide net in search of votes and supporters.
