What We’re Reading January 20, 2016

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Wednesday, January 20, 2016.

Trending: MSNBC Knowingly Lies about Russian Interference in the Election

This could spell doom for the Obama administration’s illegal amnesty — the Supreme Court will offer an opinion on the constitutionality of the President’s Executive Order on Amnesty!

The race for the nomination from the GOP continues to heat up, even as Hillary Clinton continues to fall apart.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) recently proposed calling for a Constitutional Convention to make important changes to our governing document and many in the media mocked him. However, the brilliant legal and political pundit Glenn Harlan Reynolds explains why Abbott may just be right.

I’m not yet ready to say that a convention to discuss constitutional amendments is a good idea. But to the extent it panics our current political class, which I believe to be probably the worst political class in our nation’s history, it’s looking like a better one.

Sadly for Donald Trump’s supporters in the GOP, he’s still not doing so great with General Election voters.

Some in the GOP are reminding voters of what Trump said in 2009 about the Tea Party, Barack Obama and the Bank Bailouts… and Trump isn’t happy about it.

Donald Trump now believes that removing Moammar Qaddafi from power in Libya was a big mistake, but that’s not what he was saying back in 2011 when he was calling for the Obama administration to intervene.

The liberals at Salon believe that Marco Rubio (R-FL) should be disqualified from the Presidency because of his bizarre religious views… that happen to be Roman Catholic.
