Russia to hold joint naval drills with China in the South China Sea:  “The drills come weeks after a UN-backed tribunal ruled this month that China did not have historic rights to the hotly contested waters.”

Even though political and celebrity heavyweights participated in the DNC, the networks that aired Day 3 of the event experienced ratings losses:  “Even with all the big names onstage last night, convention-to-convention, the combined rating of the DNC stumbled against Donald Trump and the RNC. Day 3 in Philadelphia was down 18% in the fast affiliates key demo from the drama of Day 3 in Cleveland when Ted Cruz refused to endorse the candidate and running mate Mike Pence spoke.”

Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg called fellow billionaire Donald Trump a “con.”

Donald Trump has 7.4% lead over Hillary.

German police raid homes and mosque for radicalizing Muslims.

U.S. Debt at $19.4 trillion.

Nancy Pelosi says the reason Hillary does so poorly with white voters is because of the “3 G’s”: Guns, gays, and God.

Fractured party:  Bernie supporters aren’t giving in to Hillary.
