What We’re Reading August 29, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Saturday August 29, 2015.

Trending: Senator Ted Cruz Destroys Environmentalist During Hearing on Climate Change

Senator Rand Paul spoke to a crowd of about 500 on Wednesday in Seattle, where his message was clear — both parties are to blame for America’s problems. “Washington is horribly broken and you ask yourself whose fault is it? Well let’s see, Republicans, Democrats — let’s just say everybody in Washington ought to come home and we ought to start over.” He also told the crowd that if they were “eager for war” they should find themselves another candidate!

Is the Ted Cruz tidal wave just starting to build? Erick Erickson has a great piece up about the similarities he sees between Ted Cruz and President Ronald Reagan, but the last line may be the best… “But it will be damn funny to see all these guys who’ve been attacking Cruz for six years suddenly put “Cruz for President” bumper stickers on their cars.”

More from Erick Erickson – Could this be the end for the GOP? If the moderate RINO squishes have their way, it will be.

Governor Scott Walker (R-WI) argues that the Obama administration has mishandled relations with China and that the next President should deal with the communist nation from a position of strength.

An open rant at those who would repeal the Second Amendment. “Talk is cheap, but persuading Americans to surrender their rights will be expensive, difficult, and time-consuming.”

President Obama’s National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is redefining the word “employer” and that’s not a good thing.

The gay, black man who murdered a reporter and her cameraman saw racism in every word and action of those around him.

Incoherence and race-baiting run amok.
