We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Monday August 24, 2015.
Donald Trump is NO Ronald Reagan.
We find no similarities other than both Reagan and Trump came out of the entertainment industry. We knew Ronald Reagan. We served alongside President Reagan. Ronald Reagan was our friend. And, Mr. Trump, you’re no Ronald Reagan.
Glenn Beck just doesn’t understand why conservatives think that Donald Trump is one of them. Donald Trump is NO Conservative. When asked if Donald Trump was a conservative, Beck responded by saying, “I don’t think he is; I haven’t heard him talk about the Constitution or small government. It’s hard to say you espouse conservative principals and small-government principals when you are saying that you think [the] Canadian health care system works and is wonderful.”
Even so, Trump continues to dominate the GOP field in most presidential polls.
Carly Fiorina’s supporters are up in arms over the ludicrous debate format that CNN is employing and which will likely keep Fiorina out of the upcoming Presidential debate.
Rand Paul gets a big win in Kentucky where state lawmakers decide to shift Presidential nominating to an early caucus. This will effectively allow Senator Paul to run for both the White House and the Senate simultaneously.
Liberals are still begging uber-liberal (and fake Native American) Elizabeth Warren to run for President. Even if she doesn’t run, Warren is still bad news for Hillary Clinton… especially if the Massachusetts Senator decides to endorse Joe Biden in the coming days.
Demorats argue that Republicans are beholden to big business, but the truth is that the Democrat Party are themselves being ruled by Tech industry oligarchs.
