What We’re Reading August 12, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Wednesday August 12, 2015.

Trending: Obama Forgot He is No Longer President, Shows Up at G20 Summit

Donald Trump may be in trouble. The latest Rasmussen poll still shows him leading the GOP field, but he’s lost a lot of ground over the last couple of weeks.

No, Donald Trump was never (and is still not) the GOP front runner.

Kurt Schlichter at the Journal has some harsh words for anyone still supporting Donald Trump for President.

If you are still for Trump, you’re a sucker. A fool. A mark taken by a political grifter who has cunningly exploited both your legitimate rage and your inability to respond to the myriad outrages the establishment has heaped upon you with anything but inarticulate anger.

Rich Lowry at the National Review calls Donald Trump the most fabulous whiner in all of American politics. For his part, Trump says that Lowry is right – he is a whiner, but he is great at it.

“Well, I think he is probably right, I am the most fabulous whiner,” Trump responded. “I do whine because I want to win. And I am not happy about not winning. And I am a whiner. And I’m a whiner and I keep whining and whining until I win. And I’m gonna win for the country and I’m going to make our country great again.”

Senator Ted Cruz believes that it is both foolish and dangerous for the GOP to dismiss or criticize a candidate with as much appeal and drawing power as Donald Trump.

It’s a sad day in Bernie Sanders-land… it seems that the socialist candidate’s surge has come to an end.

At the first GOP debate, Fox News proved that they are truly the one source for real journalism on TV.
