What We’re Reading April 16, 2016

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Saturday, April 16, 2016.

Trending: Thomas Jefferson & the Mussulmen (Muslim)

Senator [score]Ted Cruz[/score] (R-TX) made a lot of liberals very angry this week when he spoke out in defense of North Carolina (and other states) who have passed bills enforcing single gender bathrooms, showers, and changing facilities. By the way, Ted Cruz wants everyone to know that there is just no way he would ever consider working in a Trump administration.

Ladies and Gentlemen. We CANNOT build a Frankenstein GOP if we hope to win the future.

Donald Trump has got to stop whining about Ted Cruz “stealing votes.” The fact is that Cruz has aptly navigated the primary system while the Trump campaign has neglected doing the hard work of rounding up delegates.

Ugh. Yet another Donald Trump Bible misstep as he tells America that his favorite Bible verse is “an eye for an eye.”

Could Europe soon be “burqa-free”? Is banning burqa’s just as bad as forcing them?

Bill Nye, the pseudo-“Science Guy,” thinks it might be a good idea to throw man-made climate change skeptics into prison for their disbelief.

Panamanian authorities just stopped a HUGE shipment of cocaine from Cuba that was on its way to Europe. Apparently, the Cuban government has actually changed its ways.

In the race to replace [score]Marco Rubio[/score] in the Senate, Dr. Ben Carson has chosen to endorse conservative Congressman [score]Ron DeSantis[/score]! Good choice Dr. Carson!

Professor James Harrison works at Portland Community College in Oregon and was recently filmed telling his students that a “good world” would be “a world without whiteness.” Harrison teaches a class on racism, which seems apropos considering the fact that he sounds like a racist.
