What We’re Reading April 10, 2015

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

The mother of convicted Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had some pretty inflammatory things to say after she found out that he’d been found guilty of terrorism. “I will never forget it. May god bless those who helped my son. The terrorists are the Americans and everyone knows it. My son is the best of the best,” Zubeidat Tsarnaeva told Russian news outlets.

Europe is dying, so how do the governments of Europe respond? Why, with sex education of course. Instead of examining how secularism has laid siege to families and discouraged traditional family living, Europe is attempting to solve their baby problems through sex education.

Is there an obvious sociological reason that Jeb Bush could have mistakenly (and honestly) marked “Hispanic” on his 2009 Florida voter registration card? Eli Finkel at the New York Times says, ‘sure there is’!

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) is plotting his comeback to the Presidential race in 2016… the question is, ‘what’s next?’

Senator Rand Paul had a brilliant political moment during his press conference in New Hampshire. It was good to see the Senator finally expose the media double standard on abortion.

Surprisingly, or not so much, President Barack Obama is more popular than either Fidel or Raul Castro.

Iran is now calling for world nuclear disarmament!
