What Diversity Means: “I’m Rooting for Everybody Black”

A black actress at the Emmy Awards show us the reality of what diversity means.

At the Emmy Awards last night, HBO producer Issa Rae gave us a clue about what diversity means in our present political culture. It means blacks are encouraged to be racist.

Imagine if Ivanka Trump was asked about the forthcoming Emmy Awards and said she was hoping that only white nominees would win. How would Leftists like Nancy Pelosi and Paul Ryan respond?

Variety reports, “Issa Rae at the Emmys: ‘I’m Rooting for Everybody Black’

Issa Rae, creator and star of HBO’s “Insecure,” was happy get candid about who she was rooting for to win at this year’s 69th Primetime Emmy Awards, despite her own show’s snub.

“I’m rooting for everybody black,” she said from the red carpet. “I am!”

The article goes on as if there is nothing remotely racist about this. After all, it’s not like blacks have been kept out of the entertainment industry.

A black is applauded for expressing an exclusive wish for the success of everyone who shares her skin color, but a white would be condemned for the same sentiment.
