Vice President Mike Pence told his security detail that he would not slink away by using a safe back door of the Capitol Building after the Senate confirmed Brett Kavanagh to the U.S. Supreme Court. He boldly walked out the front door and waved as the unhinged protesters below whined and writhed.

The Secret Service warned the VP that he would be far safer leaving by the secured exit, but Pence was having none of that.

Pence was not about to be seen sneaking away after such a great victory.

Video of the event show Pence strolling happily down the stairs of the Capitol waving as the haters below screamed “shame, shame” at him.

According to sources inside the Capitol, Pence smiled and said “Let’s do it” just before exiting the building.

As Fox News correspondent Chad Pergram reported:

Kudos to Mike Pence for not slinking away as if he did something wrong like a thief in the night and for standing up to the bullies of the left.
