CNN’s Van Jones called the results of the midterm elections “heartbreaking,” saying he believes Democrats may still have a feeling of “helplessness” come Wednesday.
“This is heartbreaking. It’s heartbreaking. The hope has been that the antibodies would kick in, that this sort of infestation of hatred and division would draw a response from the American people, really in both parties, to say ‘no’ and ‘no more.'”
They got the House, but they’re still throwing tantrums that it was just barely and that they lost the Senate badly.

CNN political commentator Van Jones called the midterm election results “heartbreaking” on Tuesday night as Republicans won two key U.S. Senate seats.
Republican Tennessee Rep. Marsha Blackburn is projected to win her Senate race against Democrat Phil Bredesen while Republican Mike Braun ousted Democratic incumbent Sen. Joe Donnelly in Indiana.
“This is heartbreaking,” Jones said. “It’s heartbreaking. The hope has been that antibodies would kick in. That this sort of infestation of hatred and division would draw a response from the American people, really in both parties, to say, ‘no.’”
“That does not seem to be happening tonight,” Jones admitted. “It’s not a blue wave but it’s still a blue war. We’ve gotta continue the fight forward.” More
The Blue Wave turned out to be no more than a Blue Ripple, at best. A sad Van Jones is a good thing. His heartbreak is America’s celebration.
The masks are fully off, there’s no question where this man’s and CNN’s biases lie. There is no moderate perspective which would call this election “heartbreaking” that point of view can only come from a radical left-wing ideologue.
It is heartbreaking. I can’t believe the Dems will likely flip the House. How does anyone vote for them?

Oh, the anti-bodies have kicked in and the T-cells and the white blood cells. The virus of liberalism has been identified and we are going to hone in on its pathogens and save this World.

@VanJones68 Go ahead, keep calling us bigots, keep calling us lovers of hatred and division. Obama implied as much for 8 years, and we got sick of it.

It means nothing, especially since the democrats poured millions of dollars more than the Republicans did and they have already lost the Senate, 3 key Governors races, and will barely win the house.
