Trump’s Support Breaks 50% for the First Time!

Not only does Donald Trump hold a 3-point lead (45 – 42) against Hillary Clinton overall, but among those who are sure of their vote preference (88 percent), Trump leads Clinton, 53 to 43. This is the first time any candidate this cycle has broken 50 percent support. From Rasmussen:

Clinton and Trump have been tied for the previous two days.  This is the first time Trump’s been ahead in the White House Watch in nearly two weeks, but it remains to be seen whether this is the start of a trend or a one-day hiccup.

Eighty-eight percent (88%) of voters say they are now certain how they will vote. Among these voters, Trump has a 10-point lead over Clinton – 53% to 43%. Johnson gets two percent (2%) and Stein one percent (1%). This is the first time any candidate has crossed the 50% mark. Among those who still could change their minds, it’s Clinton 36%, Trump 36%, Johnson 22% and Stein six percent (6%).

Polls are showing a significant drop in support for Clinton ever since the daily drip of embarrassing information from WikiLeaks and Project Veritas started in earnest a couple weeks ago, and in particular ever since Comey reopened his investigation into Hillary. In addition, a growing number of GOP voters are saying they’re going to be participating.

What remains to be seen is not only what else Project Veritas and WikiLeaks have on Democrat operatives, including the Hillary Clinton campaign, but also what the Clinton campaign has on Donald Trump that they might be sitting on.

Their last “surprise” – while shocking for a time – has nearly fizzled. It was a one-time thing that went viral. The thing with Project Veritas and WikiLeaks is that their incriminating information is always coming out, nearly everyday.

My guess is that whatever the Democrats have on Donald Trump will be released the day before election day – or perhaps this weekend – as a last-ditch effort to sway voters.
