Trump Predicts Democrats and Republicans to Work Together on Health Care

After the individual mandate repeal, there is a possibility that health care will fall into the category of bipartisan issues. At least that is what President Donald Trump is predicting to come in the near future.

On Tuesday he tweeted, “Based on the fact that the very unfair and unpopular Individual Mandate has been terminated as part of our Tax Cut Bill, which essentially Repeals (over time) ObamaCare.”

He added, “Democrats & Republicans will eventually come together and develop a great new HealthCare plan!”

As much as we would like it to be the present truth, ObamaCare is still the system in place. However, President Trump speaks as if the entire (not so) Affordable Care Act has been repealed.

Perhaps he is sowing a seed, and this is spoken in good faith of what is to come. While Republicans have failed to officially repeal ObamaCare, we have at least been able to remove some of the horrible aspects of it.

IJR reports:

While the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said repealing the mandate — which penalizes individuals for not purchasing health insurance — would lower the deficit by billions of dollars, it also projected that 4 million fewer individuals would purchase health insurance.

That estimate seemed to confirm analysts’ fears that without the individual mandate, healthier individuals would leave insurance pools, allow costs to rise among the sick and prompt fewer people to buy health insurance.

Democrats railed against Trump’s tax plans for their impact on the middle class. On Friday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) accused the Republican Party of bleeding “the middle class dry.”

The light is on at Nancy Pelosi’s, but no one is home!

How can she honestly claim that the new tax bill will be bleeding the middle class dry when it is doing quite the opposite, and putting more money into our checks? Democrats are attempting to cause chaos by fear mongering to those who either do not understand the new bill or simply won’t take the time to learn for themselves.
