Trish Regan: Dems Want to See Dreamers Deported to Help Their Elections

Democrats make a big show of wanting DACA Dreamers to have amnesty. However, their actions aren’t backing up their words! Do they even really want a deal?

Fox Business anchor Trish Regan has made an excellent point as to why they would actually like to se the Trump administration deport Dreamers.

President Trump blasted Senator Chuck Schumer and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi of raging their feet before the quickly approaching deadline on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Trump said that if there is not a deal made by March 5th, then Schumer and Pelosi will be the ones to blame.

Trump said, “March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Democrats are doing nothing about DACA. They Resist, Blame, Complain and Obstruct – and do nothing. Start pushing Nancy Pelosi and the Dems to work out a DACA fix, NOW!”

He tweeted later that day, “The Democrats just aren’t calling about DACA. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have to get moving fast, or they’ll disappoint you again. We have a great chance to make a deal or, blame the Dems! March 5th is coming up fast.”

Fox News Insider reports:

Meantime, Senators John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Chris Coons (D-Del.) are set to release a bipartisan proposal that does not include funding for Trump’s border wall.

The White House proposed a plan which includes a potential path to citizenship for 1.8 million Dreamers, along with a $25 billion investment in border security. Trump has maintained he will not support any agreement that does not include the wall.

On Monday, Regan said that the president absolutely won’t give in to a bipartisan deal if it doesn’t include an end to chain migration, as well as the visa lottery. I would not be surprised if he tuns down a deal that doesn’t include the border wall as well.

Regan went on to explain that she believes Dems are more focused on winning their midterm elections and the 2020 elections, and less focused on helping Dreamer.

“I hate to say this, but I almost think the Democrats would like to see some of these Dreamers get kicked out of the country by the Trump administration because they could run on that,” she said.

Harris Faulkner said the optics of that scenario would likely be negative for Republicans. Ed Henry recalled that DACA began in an election year, 2012, when Barack Obama issued the executive order protecting individuals brought to the U.S. as children.
