The NFL Anti-American Displays Continue

Why do players expect NFL anti-American gestures to win over viewers?

While I don’t understand why the national anthem is played at sports events of any kind, the players are all highly privileged people who make a good living. Publicly acting like America is a racist enemy that they must not respect can only alienate the majority of poorer, less privileged, white viewers!

Yet the displays of disrespect continue.

Bennett sat as teammate Justin Britt stood next to him with his hand on his shoulder while another teammate, Thomas Rawls, stood on Bennett’s other side before the game against the Green Bay Packers.

Remember, Bennet claimed he was singled out by police because he was black.
