The Faith of Ted Cruz: How the Most Conservative Candidate for President in Generations became a Brother in Christ

A group called Keep the Promise, which happens to be supporters of Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), just released an important short documentary called Ted Cruz: Faith in Action that describes the Cruz family’s road to faith. It’s a compelling story that gives you a clear view into the life and faith of Senator Cruz, a man who the establishment tells us is a fake but who, from everything I have seen and heard, is as committed a Christian as we’ve seen run for President from the GOP in generations.

No candidate has fought harder for religious liberty than Ted Cruz, and that is demonstrably true. Ted Cruz has argued (and WON) for our religious freedom before the Supreme Court on several different occasions – no other candidate can say that. No other candidate is as hated by the establishment of both parties. No other candidate has stood and fought for conservative principles and values as often or as hard.

Folks, Ted Cruz is the best candidate for President that we’ve had (with a real chance to win) since Ronald Reagan. Watch, learn and enjoy.

Recently, Senator Ted Cruz sat down with over 100 pastors and faith leaders to talk about how his Christian faith has shaped his worldview and how it would guide his decision-making as the next President of the United States. This short 18-minute documentary – Cruz Faith In Action — tells the story of how Ted Cruz came to be the man and leader he is today beginning with his father’s acceptance of Christ. You will hear directly from Rafael Cruz, Ted’s father, along with Pastor Gaylon Wiley, the man who led Rafael to Christ and then baptized Ted when he came to Christ. Senator Cruz then recounts how his Christian faith impacted him, his family, and shaped his conservative Biblical views. He also provides us with a refreshing reassurance about how his Christian beliefs and principles will guide him as President – from the appointment of Supreme Court Justices to defense of religious liberties.
