A high school student was arrested after she became enraged over a fellow student’s Donald Trump “MAGA” hat in the classroom and attacked the boy and her teacher who intervened to stop the act.
Jo-Ann Butler, a 17-year-old senior at Union Mine High School in El Dorado, California, is now facing battery charges after attacking a boy wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap in the classroom.
The budding liberal Brownshirt began verbally accosting the boy, then she wrestled his hat away from him, sources say.
According to CBS Sacramento:

She grabbed the hat off his head.
“That’s a racist and hateful symbol,” Butler said.
She is now facing two counts of battery, one against her classmate and one against her teacher who deputies say she slapped, as he escorted her from the room.
Butler says she made the scene to express her political feelings.
“Maybe just wake people up in some type of way, because it’s not cool the environment our classroom is in,” Butler said.
Her father says he does not approve of the way she behaved in class.
“Wasn’t handled the way I’d like it,” Chris Butler said.
The high school administration noted that the school dress code DOES allow people to wear clothing with political messages. So, the boy violated no rules at all by wearing the hat.
In a statement, the school said in part:
“…student and staff safety is our highest priority and the UMHS administration will continue to cooperate with the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office as the incident is being investigated.”
But, isn’t this just like the hardcore, hate-filled left? Liberals seem to hate free speech today and they also apparently feel there is no problem at all with using violence against people who disagree with the left’s politics. The left has clearly taught this girl that Brownshirt tactics are perfectly acceptable.
And who else but a liberal could hate a message that says we should “make America great”?
