SHOCK: Government Employee in Trouble for Not Doing His Job at Parkland High School

The government employee did not protect students, but when will the FBI agents face the same accountability?

This government employee has retired. But he only received pressure to do so because of his low pay grade. So far, we haven’t heard of anyone in the FBI being investigated for missing tips about the school shooter. I doubt they will ever have to face the consequences that the school resource officer had to face for staying outside the school building while students were slain inside.

Note that this conservative radio host was asking about the school resource officer a week ago:

“Devastated, sick to my stomach, there are no words.” [Broward County Sheriff Scott] Israel said of his feelings after learning [Scot] Peterson did not enter the building.

“These families lost their children, we lost coaches. I’ve been to the funerals. […] It’s just, there are no words.”

Peterson was placed on restricted administrative assignment and surrendered his identification card and weapons on Feb. 22. He was also prohibited from entering any sheriff’s office facility.

“He was armed,” Israel said. “He was in uniform. After seeing video, witness statements and Scott Peterson’s very own statement, I decided this morning to suspend Scott Peterson without pay pending an internal investigation.

“As is his right Scott Peterson chose to resign because he has the necessary time with the agency and meets the requirements of retirement.”
