Katy Griffin became a household name after she posted a photo, one she falsely labeled as art, of herself holding a bloody mannequin head made to look like President Trump.
Now the not so funny comedian wishes that you didn’t know her name as an investigation has gone underway, and she became one of America’s most infamous actresses.
Well happy Independence Day to us because it was reported that Griffin was interrogated by Secret Service for more than an hour on Tuesday, according to journalist Yashar Ali.
Last month, her Los Angeles-based lawyer, Dmitry Gorin, told reporters that his client intends to fully cooperate with the probe, which he feels is unnecessary.
‘She basically exercised her First Amendment rights to tell a joke,’ he told The New York Times.
‘When you look at everything in the media, all the times entertainers make videos or express themselves in other ways, you’ve never seen an entertainer, let alone a comedian, be subject to a criminal investigation.’
Griffin tearfully apologized last month for posing with a fake bloodied and severed head depicting Trump, saying that she felt her career was now over and that Trump ‘broke’ her.
Griffin lost sponsorships and jobs, including her role as co-host of CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage with journalist Anderson Cooper, since the photograph and video from the shoot appeared on social media.
Boo hoo, poor little Kathy Griffin acted out of reason and now she reaps the consequences of the sour seed she sowed. I have no sympathy for her.

In fact, we are rejoicing that she is finally having to answer for what she did……at least we can hope she will have to answer for them. At this point, there’s not many details on what is going on.
News: Kathy Griffin has been interviewed by the Secret Service, in-person, for over an hour….investigation still not closed.

Interestingly enough, there were people tweeting back to Ali who were defending Griffin. Disgusting.
