Donald Trump is being falsely accused by the lying mainstream media and lying Democrats of claiming that all immigrants are animals.
White House Press Secretary Sanders spoke out forcefully against the media brazen lie that Trump had called “immigrants” animals. She insisted he was referring to MS-13
“This is one of the most vicious, deadly gangs that operates by the motto rape, control, and kill,” she said. “If the media and liberals want to defend MS-13, they’re more than welcome to.”
“Frankly, I don’t think the term the president used was strong enough,” said Sanders. “MS-13 has done heinous acts. It took an animal to stab a man a hundred times, decapitate him and rip his heart out. It took an animal to beat a woman they were sex trafficking with a bat 28 times, indenting part of her body.”
Bre Payton writes at The Federalist, “Despite What You’ve Heard, Trump Didn’t Say Immigrants Are ‘Animals.’” She provides tha transcript proving the context:
He is clearly saying that members of the MS-13 gang, who have stabbed teen girls to death, ripped their victims’ hearts out, beheaded them, removed their hands, and sexually tortured them, are behaving like animals. But here’s how a lot of media outlets covered this comment.
—The New York Times: Trump Calls Some Unauthorized Immigrants ‘Animals’ in Rant
—Vox: Trump on deported immigrants: ‘They’re not people. They’re animals.’
—HuffPo: Trump Refers To Immigrants As ‘Animals.’ Again.
—Sky News: Trump: Illegal immigrants are ‘animals’
—ABC 10 News: Trump Calls Some Immigrants ‘Animals’ In Sanctuary Policy Meeting
One could make a fair argument that Trump ought not call MS-13 members “animals,” but to characterize Trump’s comment as being about all immigrants, undocumented or otherwise, is plainly false. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer took this one step further and likened my immigrant father and grandparents to members of a brutal gang. Yes, really.
When all of our great-great-grandparents came to America they weren’t “animals,” and these people aren’t either.

I have to disagree with Payton. The Left can’t argue that “Trump ought not call MS-13 members ‘animals,’ after they had no objection to this tweet by Donald Trump:
Many dead, including women and children, in mindless CHEMICAL attack in Syria. Area of atrocity is in lockdown and encircled by Syrian Army, making it completely inaccessible to outside world. President Putin, Russia and Iran are responsible for backing Animal Assad. Big price…
