Residue from the Previous Administration’s Incompetents is Obvious

The headline, “Former US intel chiefs: Trump ‘played’ by Putin” captures attention, but really, anointing Brennan and Clapper as “intel chiefs” only underscores just how incompetent the previous administration actually was!

Concerning John Brennan, the fact that he was appointed CIA Director amid an on going controversy of his possible conversion to the Islamic faith raises a multitude of questions, least of which was the timing of his nomination by Obama.

The innocence of mere happenstance will be in play since Obama named this CIA director just months after his re-election, which was again only months after our tragic and still unaccounted for loss on 9/11 in Benghazi.

I mention Benghazi since Brennan assisted with the organizing of those now infamously false talking points with which Susan Rice introduced herself to the Country; appearing on five Sunday morning TV shows.  Today, the significance of Brennan’s association with Rice’s insulting oratory is, in hindsight, heightened by his subsequent CIA posting from a grateful Obama.

Whatever his actual role in crafting of Rice’s Sunday dribble, Brennan must shoulder partial responsibility for it now being considered a gigantic lie.  That the attack wasn’t premeditated or organized but rather a “spontaneous reaction” from “a hateful and offensive video that was widely disseminated throughout the Arab and Muslim world” is just blatantly false.  Proof based upon both footage of the events and the accounts from survivors sadly reveal Rice’s intentional fiction.

Also worrisome is the rumor that Brennan underwent a conversion to Islam.  This is buffered by his own remarks of, “the goodness and beauty of Islam…a faith of peace and tolerance…” along with “the tremendous warmth of Islamic culture and societies.”  He stated this in 2010, years prior to his CIA directorship!

Then there is James Clapper who has exhibited a faulty memory but now appears clairvoyant as to how our President is being “played.”

His long ago lock step support of Sens Kerry and McCain’s efforts to bury  the 1992 Senate Investigation of the still unresolved POW/MIA question permanently tarnished his reputation, integrity and his word.

Here’s a Director of National Intelligence who attempted to amend his 2013 perjurious statement to Congress but was dressed down by Sen Ron Wyden (D) for not giving a “straight answer” and by Justin Amash (R) stating, “It now appears clear that the director of national intelligence, James Clapper, lied under oath to Congress…”

With this info as background music, these two removals from our inner governmental workings are the current soloists of the media’s anti-Trump song fest.  Thus, they assume the weighty seat of passing judgment upon conversations between heads of state which occur half way around the world but due to their crafty insight, are easily analyzed.

Clapper is quoted saying, “It’s very clear that the Russians interfered in the elections…”  Really?  What tea leaves is he reading?  Then he adds, “He seems very susceptible to rolling out the red carpet…and I think that appeals to him, and I think it plays to his insecurities.”  In fact, both cite Trump’s insecurities.  Again, due to their keen insight!

Perhaps Marc Short, the President’s director of legislative affairs summarized best when stating Trump’s position, “He believes that after a year of investigations of tens of millions of taxpayer dollars, there is zero evidence of any ballot being impacted by Russian interference.”  However, despite all this, both Brennan and Clapper question why Trump will not play the role of a dunce.  Why would these two expect an American President to charge Putin with something that he himself is unable to confirm or accept.  Imagine the repercussions and laughter if he did?

Not only are these two incompetents relegated to being outsiders, who now should only criticize from the bleachers, how can our media justify printing such hogwash?   How scary is it that media word wizards print their closing line and yet remain oblivious to its common sense message;  “…nuclear weapons in North Korea is a greater threat than Russia buying Facebook ads in America.”  Hey media, it’s called priorities!  Again, thank you Mr. Short!
