A new report states that pop sensation Rihanna has turned down the offer of playing the Super Bowl half time show because anti-American NFL protester Colin Kaepernick has still not be signed by any team.
Rihanna has repeatedly noted her support for the former San Francisco 49er who invented the anti-American protest during the playing of the national anthem. His invention of the attack on America quickly metastasized throughout the league until by 2017 hundreds of players and many owners had taken up the attack. But as the protests grew, the NFL’s ratings crashed.
This season, though, protests have been confined to about 5 or 6 chronic anti-American players. And with the networks no longer showing the anthem on TV, ratings have finally stopped crashing at double digits and stabilized.
In any case, Kaepernick turned free agent at the end of the 2016 season and since then has gone two seasons with no team interested in hiring him.

This is what the pop singer is apparently protesting by refusing to take the half time show gig.
Per Fox News:
The 30-year-old “Umbrella” singer disagrees with the NFL’s stance on kneeling during the national anthem, according to Us Weekly, and has decided to skip a performance opportunity at the February 2019 game.
Organizers for the game “really wanted Rihanna to be next year’s performer in Atlanta,” a source told the news outlet. “They offered it to her, but she said no because of the kneeling controversy. She doesn’t agree with the NFL’s stance.”
By the end of the 2017 season Kaepernick filed a players union grievance saying that the team owners and the league have “colluded” in backroom agreements to keep him from being signed to another team.
With his filing, many of his supporters have insisted that Kaepernick has been “black balled” from the league.
Singer Rihanna is one of those making such a claim. She has supported Kaepernick for some time and has tweeted her support.
