What We’re Reading September 2, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday September 2, 2014.

If Obama is so tired of being President– why won’t he just leave already?

Uh-oh. The world continues to blaze – we now have a grave new threat to be worried about. In Pakistan violent protests threaten the stability of the Pakistani government. This is a big deal because Pakistan is a nuclear nation, and if the government collapses and Islamic extremists get hold of a nuclear weapon… the world will become an even more dangerous place.

It’s not just me, right? Everyone else feels like Russia is constant on the verge of collapse too? People have been predicting Russia’s end for quite a long time – but they’re still hanging around.

Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) is pushing for President Obama and the legislature to arm the Ukrainian military in their fight against Russia and the Russian backed rebels.

Is the best plan for beating back ISIS to concentrate our firepower in Syria?

A truly sad day for Libya. Islamic militants now reside in the US Embassy in Libya’s capital of Tripoli. Fortunately, this time around we evacuated the embassy a few weeks before the city fell to terrorists.
