What We’re Reading October 28, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday October 28, 2014.

Trending: Thomas Jefferson & the Mussulmen (Muslim)

We are one short week away from the 2014 National Midterm Elections. Please, please, please do your Civic Duty and go vote. Before you vote – please make sure to be an informed voter – grab a voter’s guide and find out which candidate is the best fit for you!

If Governor Scott Walker (R-WI) loses, it will be a direct result of the disgusting intimidation tactics brought to bear by corrupt liberal political activists in the government.

A shocking poll of Maryland finds the Republicans incredibly close in a contest that should be anything but. Maryland is a deep blue state, whose Democrat policies have wrecked the state economy and culture.

Don’t look now, but the GOP is starting to look competitive in House races they previously thought were out of reach. The 2014 midterm may be a bigger GOP Wave than anyone even thought possible.

Uh-oh. Is Politico turning against our liberal overlords in Washington, D.C.? Their latest headline openly wonders whether or not the team that President Obama has assembled to handle National Security matters is up to the task. Politico goes so far as to call them a “Team of Bumblers.”

Whoa. Jimmy Carter speaks out against forcing gay marriage on the states!

“I’m kind of inclined to let the states decide individually,” Mr. Carter said, during a WFAA-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth interview. “As you see, more and more states on deciding on gay marriage every year. If Texas doesn’t want to have gay marriage, then I think that’s a right for Texas people to decide.”

The junior Senator from New Jersey, Cory Booker (D-NJ), is as dirty as they come…. even if his friends in the media like to pretend otherwise. As more evidence begins to leak out and government investigators begin to dig into his past – Senator Booker is looking more and more like a punch line than a future star.

While we’ve all been focused on Iraq and Syria…. Things have been falling apart in Afghanistan.
