Make it 53! The GOP adds another Senate seat as Dan Sullivan looks to have won the Senate race in Alaska. All that’s left now is Louisiana… which should be ours soon.

Interestingly enough, the latest polling data shows that American voters want the GOP to set the direction of the country over the next year, and NOT President Obama or the Democrats.

The head of the FCC who claims to be independent, though was appointed by President Obama, is distancing himself from President Obama’s speech on Net Neutrality. “What you want is what everyone wants: an open Internet that doesn’t affect your business,” a visibly frustrated Wheeler said at the meeting, according to four people who attended. “What I’ve got to figure out is how to split the baby.”

If Obama goes it alone on immigration reform, it could be just the thing to galvanize the GOP on immigration.
