So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday June 17, 2014.
Wow. First, Casey Kasem died on Sunday, and on Monday morning the greatest hitter of our generation, Tony Gwynn, passed away. Tony was a fan favorite for his exuberant personality and his 1,000-watt smile. He brought joy and excitement to millions just by playing the game he loved. He was a Hall of Fame baseball player and a Hall of Fame human… he will be missed.
The media really doesn’t like Hobby Lobby or their philosophical mission.
CNN continues to prove that gun violence in America is not on the rise, even if the Obama administration thinks that it is.
Oddly enough, while President Obama seems to think that the United States is getting ever more violent… he also believes that the rest of the world is somehow growing less violent? Seems problematic.
Russia is beginning to tighten the noose on Ukraine – things may be about to get very ugly in Eastern Europe.
Is Eric Cantor the next Karl Rove?
Iraq is falling apart and John Kerry is talking about climate change. Seriously.
The EPA admits that it is waging a war on the coal industry. All of you mining unions should take note… stop supporting Democrats! They are trying to end your source of income.
