What We’re Reading February 27, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Friday February 27, 2015.

Trending: A Message for Obama – “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.”

Today is the second day of CPAC 2015 and if the first day was any indication Friday should be a lot of fun.

It’s a very sad day in Missouri (and the USA) – GOP Gubernatorial candidate Tom Schweich has died.

The Washington Times is reporting on something that is not going to be well received in the Hillary Clinton camp – Hillary Clinton’s war in Libya has truly and measurably damaged American intelligence.

Why won’t the dictator of Syria, Bashar al Assad, fight back against the ISIS monsters? The sad truth is, the stronger that ISIS grows the greater the benefit for the Syrian regime.

Uh-oh folks – it seems that GOP Presidential hopeful Jeb Bush is “evolving” on gay marriage.

There are a lot of lessons that GOP politicians should be learning from studying the Scott Walker Presidential campaign over the last month or so.

The FCC is moving forward and attempting to impose government control over the Internet. Net Neutrality and government involvement in the Internet can ONLY be bad, folks. The government cannot make something “more free” it can only intervene in that freedom… don’t let the government take away the last bastion of real freedom in the world.

Don’t believe in anti-Semitism? The latest worldwide religious poll finds that harassment of Jews reached a worldwide 7-year high in 2013… and things have only gotten worse since then.

Um. So this is a thing. Venezuela is running out of toilet paper!
