What We’re Reading August 4, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Monday August 4, 2014.

Democrats are doing a lot of whining and crying about secret GOP plans to impeach President Obama… but they seem to have forgotten their impeachment infatuation under President Bush. For example, Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) recently said, “We did not seek an impeachment of President Bush.” The reality is that Sheila Jackson Lee is either an amnesiac, a liar or an alien who has taken over Lee’s body… she co-sponsored a bill of impeachment in the House against President Bush way back in 2008.

Eric Cantor (R-VA) is quitting early and many are asking why… the answer seems to be as simple as “money, money, money.”

Some Americans are not happy with Palestinian rights groups coopting their history.

The student organization Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is prominent on many college campuses, preaching a mantra of “Freeing Palestine.” It masquerades as though it were a civil rights group when it is not. Indeed, as an African-American, I am highly insulted that my people’s legacy is being pilfered for such a repugnant agenda. It is thus high time to expose its agenda and lay bare some of the fallacies they peddle.

Is Rand Paul (R-KY) Christian “enough” to be nominated by the GOP?

Rick Perry (R-TX) is “ready” for 2016?

US spies prove themselves to be superior to Russian ones… again!

Fox News correspondent Todd Starnes says some pretty terrible things about Christians who disagree with one of his friends. This is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen Starnes write…
