Count gay rights fascist… er, I mean, advocate… Dan Savage as someone who supports murdering innocent people whose only crime is being born to murderers. Savage recently appeared on an Australian TV show where he discussed his “most dangerous idea.”
Audience member Lisa Malouf closed the program by asking, “Which so-called ‘dangerous idea’ do you each think would have the greatest potential to change the world for the better if it were implemented?”
After a moment’s thought, Savage replied, “Population control. There’s too many G-d d—-ed people on the planet.”
“You know, I’m pro-choice, I believe that women should have a right to control their bodies,” he added. “Sometimes in my darker moments, I’m anti-choice. I think abortion should be mandatory for about 30 years.”
Savage became famous after putting together the anti-bullying (of gays) campaign entitled “It Gets Better.” The problem is that not long after Savage became a well-known activist, we all began to learn that he only cares when gay people get bullied. If Christians, conservatives or anyone not in agreement with the fascist gay lobby gets bullied… it’s totally okay.
Savage has a long history of angry and over-the-top rhetoric. The gay rights activist said in 2011 he wished all Republicans were “f—ing dead.” Last May, he told a group of high school students the Bible is full of “bull—-” and that Christian teenagers were “pansy —ed” for walking out of his talk.
Tim Stanley of the London Telegraph cuts right to the heart of the matter when condemning Savage’s grotesque remarks.
“In retrospect, Savage might try to insist that he was only joking but there’s no smile on his face and the point seems quite seriously made about abortion, he’ll probably be defended by radical pro-choicers. But what he’s basically saying here is that women should be compelled to abort their children so that there are less people around to annoy Dan Savage.”
Another point for Savage to consider…
Much more serious thinkers than himself have been contemplating this idea that the world’s population has grown too large, and the truth of the matter is that they’ve all been wrong. Our world can easily sustain our number, and can actually sustain billions more. There are huge swaths of our planet that remain uninhabited and large portions of land that are both arable and unused.
The population bomb never exploded, and technology has more than kept pace with our growth. It is only the cowardly whose first resort is to turn to death as an answer for life’s problems. Perhaps that is the real reason Savage is so disgustingly “pro-death”? He’s too big of a coward to consider more difficult but life-sustaining answers to our big questions.
