Patriots Owner Doesn’t Get Donald Trump’s Comments on the NFL

The Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, has been a friend of Donald Trump, but criticizes his comments.

As the media searches for a way to bring the viewers back to be lectured by “black lives matter” fictions about America, they have turned to the Boston Patriots owner. He says the President’s comments were “inflammatory and inappropriate.” But, seriously, isn’t it a bit “inflammatory” that the NFL promotes highly derogatory views of the country that offend their customers?

CBS Boston reports, “Kraft Says Trump’s Comments Were ‘Inflammatory,’ Supports Players’ Rights To Express Themselves.

“I think there were some comments made about what our young men were doing that were a little inflammatory and inappropriate, and I thought I had to speak out,” Kraft told the BBC. “And I spoke to the team and I told them that they were free to do what they thought was correct.”

Kraft said that he personally believes in standing during the national anthem, but he respects his players enough to try to understand their side.

“The greatest enemy in sport is division from within. And I personally feel it’s very important to respect our flag and our anthem. But I also respect the right of people in this country to make statements or protests peacefully, in a way that’s appropriate to them,” Kraft said.

I understand Kraft wanting his players to be free to do what they want. But it does seem like another instance where the liberal media (ESPN) and corporate elites (NFL) insult working class Americans.
