Obama at Terror-Connected Mosque: “Islam has Always been Part of America”

President Obama is less than one year away from leaving the White House, but that doesn’t mean he is through pandering for the Democrat Party. On Wednesday the President traveled to a mosque in Baltimore to deliver some remarks on Islam and America.

However, the visit has caused consternation around the country, as the president has chosen to deliver his remarks at a mosque that has long been tied to terrorists! The Islamic Society of Baltimore, where the President will be speaking, has been led for over a decade by a leader who, in the past, has justified suicide bombings and helped to start a mosque that is connected to Al Qaeda! The White House justified the visit by deferring to the liberals love of diversity.

“The president believes that one of our nation’s greatest strengths is our rich diversity. As the president has said, Muslim Americans are our friends, and neighbors; our co-workers, and sports heroes — and our men and women in uniform defending our country,” White House spokesman Keith Maley told reporters.

Here’s some of what President Obama had to say on Wednesday:

“Here’s another fact, Islam has always been part of America. Starting in colonial times many of the slaves brought here from Africa were Muslim. And even in their bondage some kept their faith alive. A few even won their freedom and became known to many Americans. And when enshrining the freedom of religion in our constitution and our bill of rights our founders meant what they said when they said it applied to all religions.”
