Multiple Neighbors of California Terrorists were Suspicious… None said Anything because they were Scared of Being Called Racists!

In the wake of the shootings in San Bernardino, California on Wednesday, the nation was shocked and horrified. Sadly, the most shocking part of the ordeal was not that the shooting took place, nor that the killers ended up being two devout Muslims… no, what was most shocking was how quickly the left used the tragedy to push their own pet political narratives on gun control and “white guilt”.

Almost immediately, liberal pundits jumped online and on TV to blame conservative white Christians for the shooting, which happened just two mile away from a Planned Parenthood facility. (In their minds this connected the shooting to conservatives.) Not only did these liberals blame white Christian pro-life conservatives (almost immediately), but then the race-baiting liberals took the opportunity to criticize and blame “white people.”

The narrative had formed… now they hoped the facts would fit it.

But, of course, it didn’t. In the end, the shooters happened to be devout Muslims who were not white, Christian or pro-life (as they murdered 14 people).

A new narrative is forming now, one that liberals won’t be happy with either. As local media began canvassing the nearby homes and speaking to the neighbors of the now-dead criminals, a theme began to develop. Many of the neighbors actually had suspicions about the Muslim couple over the last few days… but none of them said anything for fear of being labeled “racists.” On local ABC and CBS affiliates, at least three different neighbors were heard telling different versions of a similar story about how in recent days they’d become suspicious but hadn’t contacted authorities because they worried that they would be accused of racial profiling.

This is what happens when the “see something, say something” culture clashes with the “white guilt” culture. (I don’t like either of these cultures – both have been propagated by fear mongers – but they are also diametrically opposed.) This fear is well grounded, as anyone who watched the saga with Ahmed Mohammed “the Clock Boy” in Texas play out a few weeks ago. (In that case a teacher and several students noticed a device that looked suspiciously like a suitcase bomb from TV and movies, they reported it and were then called “racists” for doing so.)

Do you get the gravity of this? The terrorist’s neighbors were worried about him and his friends but they chose not to do anything because their fear of being called racist was greater than their fear of terrorism.

These scenarios prove that we have officially “jumped the shark,” culturally speaking. We have created a culture where any kind of a response to anything could be viewed negatively, so our people are frozen into inaction – leading to our own destruction. It’s quite literally cultural insanity.

Local reports show several different neighbors explaining that they considered calling the police in the days before the San Bernardino shooting, but did not want to look like racists.

“A man who has been working in the area said he noticed a half-dozen Middle Eastern men in the area in recent weeks, but decided not to report anything since he did not wish to racially profile those people.”

Here’s some brilliant commentary on how quickly the left went from outrage against conservative “white” people to silence on the San Bernardino shooting.
