Senator and presidential candidate Marco Rubio (R-FL) showed once again why we have such a hard time staying mad at him over his past immigration faux pas.
When it comes to defending life, Rubio has become one of the most vocal (and active) pro-life politicians in America. He has sponsored legislation to ban abortion after 20-weeks, and he has consistently called out Hillary Clinton’s disgusting support of infanticide. He rightly calls Clinton’s views on abortion “extreme,” and thus far he hasn’t backed off of his criticisms of the liberal infatuations with murdering babies.
While in New Hampshire recently, he showed that same old fight, when one biased pro-murder reporter pushed him on his abortion views.
The reporter smugly implied that Rubio’s views were unscientific as he asked, “You’ve mentioned that life begins at conception. Do you believe a fertilized egg has legal protection?”
Rubio’s response is pure gold.
“I believe all life is worthy of the protection of our laws. That’s what I believe. I believe that it’s outrageous that Hillary Clinton supports partial-birth abortion, which is a gruesome process that’s been outlawed in the United States but she supports it as a process that should be legal. I believe that a child, an unborn child at 24, 25 weeks who is viable outside the womb, it should not be legal to abort. Hillary Clinton believes it should be. She’s in the minority on both of those issues. These are radical positions and I look forward to exposing them in the general election.”
Thank you, Senator Rubio, for your proud and vocal support of life. Thank you for defending the weakest and most innocent among us against a vile culture that values comfort over life and prefers murder to hard work.
