Lois Lerner’s Connection to President Nixon

I wonder what the IRS would say if I told them during an audit that I lost all of my receipts that I had scanned for electronic safe-keeping. I’m sure they would assure me that it wasn’t a problem. They would take my word for my business deductions.

Yeah, right.

Here’s the Nixonian dodge, with the difference being that that media has been protecting Obama for six years and will most likely continue to do so for as long as it can:

IRS and FEC“The Internal Revenue Service told Congress Friday it has lost a trove of emails to and from Lois Lerner, a central figure in the agency’s Tea Party controversy, sparking outrage from congressional investigators who have been probing the agency for more than a year.

“The IRS said it cannot locate many of Lerner’s emails prior to 2011 because her computer crashed during the summer of that year.”

Anyone who’s not suspicious of any of this is a fool.

Why didn’t Lerner explain the computer crash months ago? A computer crash is a major event in a person’s life. Who can ever forget one.

Are we to believe that there was no back up? It seems to me that backups would be required for government officials of her high ranking.

No private company could get away with such an excuse as a computer crash.
