Kathy Griffin Still Crying: “Wish I Could Tour U.S. Without Getting Shot’

Former “comedian” Kathy Griffin made her bed, but she is tired of laying in it.

The household name is crying once again because her life has shattered and its “all Trump’s fault.” She is claiming that if the president had not tweeted in response to the gory beheaded photo she shared, then it would have blown over.

Griffin think that Trump only responded in order to distract from “his bad news of the day.”

Is she really that dense? Does she believe her own nonsense?

Speaking to Politico, Griffin said the incident has significantly impacted her ability to take her comedy show on tour and has resulted in numerous death threats. Griffin also blames the president for escalating the situation.

“I think it would have been gone in a week without his tweet,” Griffin continued, “Trump knows what would be perceived as something hysterical and he loves hysteria. There are millions of people who think I’m a member of ISIS to this day.”

IJR reports:

After the gory image of Griffin holding up a bloody fake head of Trump went viral, the president took to Twitter to voice his disgust. “Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself,” Trump wrote, indicating that his 11-year-old son Barron was having a “hard time” after seeing the picture.

The first son thought it was truly a photo of his father at first. Can you imagine the impact that would have on a child?

But according to Griffin, Trump’s response to the photo was a calculated move to distract from firing former FBI Director James Comey. “It was very soon after the Comey firing,” she said. “He absolutely used me as a tool to distract from his bad news of the day.”

“They were thrilled to have someone come over and make fun of Trump,” Griffin whined,  “I wish I could tour in the U.S. without getting shot — I know I can’t. I was in the middle of a 50-city tour when the tweet happened. It was canceled in 24 hours.”

I don’t feel sorry for her one bit.

Following the incident, Griffin has remained a vocal critic of Trump, even amid death threats and canceled performances. Earlier this month, the comedian called the president “an actual Nazi.”

“I’m more of a patriot than any of those Nazi Trumps on a good day,” Griffin said. “And yeah, I think our president’s a Nazi. I think that people should be very frightened. I think that there’s an actual Nazi — at least someone with Nazi leanings — in the White House.”
