ISIS Beheads 4-year old girl as Catholic Organization Calls for More Aid to Refugees

In yet another horrible story from the ISIS-controlled Middle East, new has broken that the Muslim terrorists have murdered a small child for the crime of disobeying her mother. The story comes from the city of Raqqa where a four-year old girl followed her mother out of the family home. When the mother told the girl to return home, her daughter disobeyed, the mother then (foolishly) threatened the girl with decapitation if she did not obey. Some nearby ISIS members heard the threat, which is when the situation turned horrific.

“A mother told her 4-year daughter to go home and she refused,” a woman who escaped from the terrorists told Al Alam International News Channel. “And then the mother told her unintentionally ‘go home and I swear to God that I will behead you if you don’t’.”

One of the members of ISIS heard the mother say this and he told her, “Since you swore to God you should behead her.” When the mother refused, they did it themselves.

“But they beheaded the little girl and soaked her mother’s hands in her daughter’s blood,” the woman said.

At the same time one of the world’s largest Catholic organizations, the Knights of Columbus, is imploring Americans to do more to help the refugees being displaced by the ISIS tyrants. Andrew Walther is the vice president of the national Knights of Columbus and he recently traveled to the Middle East and learned of the carnage being created by ISIS firsthand.

“It’s very hard to be any refugee, but to be targeted for extermination because of your religious beliefs is a qualitatively different experience.

I saw people who were persecuted for their faith. They didn’t do anything wrong but be who they were and live in the region where their families had lived for 1,000 years, but were targeted by this extremist ideology. Some were kidnapped, murdered, and raped.”

While the United States does provide more aid to those in need than any other nation on the planet, Walther believes that the aid is generally misused because it targets individuals instead of whole communities. The Middle East’s Christian community has been inordinately affected as they have faced extreme persecution from the violent and lawless Muslim terrorists.

In other areas of Iraq and Syria—where Christianity has deeper roots–the Christian population has dropped dramatically.

Between 80 percent and 90 percent of Christians–more than 1.3 million people–have fled Iraq, according to the Knights of Columbus.

Iraq ranks third in the world for Christian persecution, according to Open Doors, an organization that serves persecuted Christians globally. ISIS drove about 125,000 Christians from their homes in Mosul and the surrounding Nineveh region. More than 70 percent of Christians have fled Iraq since the war in 2003, the group says.

Another 1 million Christians fled Syria, which would be about two-thirds of that country’s Christian population, according to the Knights of Columbus. In Syria, which ranks fourth in the world for Christian persecution, Christians once made up 30 percent of the population, but now make up only 10 percent. As of March 2015, ISIS has murdered about 220,000 Christians, while 700,000 were displaced.
