Hungarian Prime Minister tells Muslims “Do Not Come”!

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban was at the European Union headquarters in Brussels earlier this week when he had an important message for Muslim refugees fleeing the devastation of the Muslim world.

Please Do Not Come.”

“I think we have a right to decide we do not want a large number of Muslim people in our country. We do not like the consequences.” The consequences Prime Minister Orban was alluding to was the period of Hungary’s history when they were ruled by the Muslim Ottoman Empire.

Near the end of the press conference an American reporter from the AP wondered about the humanitarian issue and seemed to sit in judgment of the Hungarian people for their decision to protect their border by building a fence between themselves and Serbia.

“Please don’t come… It’s risky to come. We can’t guarantee that you will be accepted,” Orban said reminding the judgmental American reporter that it is more humane for them to be honest with the refugees about the situation. Orban also reminded the reporter that the nations between the war zone and Europe (like Turkey and Serbia) were also safe places and that the refugees need not risk their lives to get to Europe when they could stay in those Muslim countries.

“We Hungarians are full of fear, people in Europe are full of fear because they see that the European leaders, among them the prime ministers, are not able to control the situation,” Prime Minister Orban said.

His comments came during a press conference on how Hungary and the EU would handle the burgeoning humanitarian crisis as thousands of Muslims continue to flood into Europe. Prime Minster Orban discussed the importance of border control as one that played a vital role in the freedom of the Hungarian people, explaining that the refugee crisis wasn’t just a humanitarian issue, but it was also a crisis of European freedom.
