Hillary Clinton is the current frontrunner for the Democrat nomination for the 2016 Presidential Election powered by rich donors, top advisers, an adoring media, and a powerful name in politics. Will these gifts from the dynasty that Bill Clinton built, along with his coat tails, be enough, or will the corruption finally catch up with Team Hillary? No one has had more opportunities given to them, perhaps no one has squandered as many opportunities as Hillary. Ray Charles famous song “Born to Lose” may have been written just for Hillary.
During Hillary Clinton’s entire tenure at the State Department she never used an official State Department email, and instead used her very own private email server running from her home in Chappaqua, New York. Furthermore, Hillary’s email activity utilized the same private email server that she delegated and shared with aids at the Dept. of State. This included emails related to the Benghazi hearings that were not disclosed despite investigator’s FOIA requests to access them.
The State Department recently excused the behavior, suggesting that this sort of thing has been done before by Secretary of State Colin Powell, who used a private email during his tenure. They failed to mention that Powell’s activity occurred prior to the added restrictions to the Records Act.
Clinton top adviser and current frontrunner to run the Hillary for President campaign, John Podesta, once criticized the Bush administration in 2007 for using RNC email accounts for official business, stating “at the end of the day, it looks like they were trying to avoid the Records Act … by operating official business off the official systems.”
The recent revelations of Hillary Clinton using private email for official business while concealing emails related to the Benghazi investigation come on the heels of yet another scandal where she accepted over $2-Billion dollars from foreign countries on behalf of her Clinton Foundation. Almost half of the Clinton Foundation’s top donors are based in foreign countries that have an interest in a Clinton White House, but are legally restricted from contributing to Hillary’s impending political campaign. One-third of those who gave over $1 million and over one-half of those who gave over $5 million are foreign governments, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.
The 3:00AM RED PHONE question is can Hillary be trusted?
Hillary Clinton started her political career as a young attorney and Saul Alinsky protégé, working on the Nixon/Watergate investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel on Chappaquiddick. Hillary was then promptly fired by her supervisor from the investigation by Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat who stated that Hillary “was a liar”, “unethical”, and a “dishonest lawyer.”
During the presidency of her husband Bill Clinton, Hillary had been tangled within many scandals that included the death of Vince Foster, Travel-gate, Whitewater, and blaming the Republican charge that her husband had sex with an intern on a “right wing conspiracy”. After her tenure as First Lady she apparently left the Whitehouse “flat broke” according to her book “Hard Choices,” despite having rented out the Lincoln bedroom to her dearest friends and richest campaign donors, and despite selling speeches for over $200K per speech. Hillary then carpet-bagged her way north to seize an opportunity to take over a U.S. Senate seat that had been long filled by then dying Patrick Moynihan of New York, who was leaving his seat for health reasons that eventually took his life. New York campaign election requirements had the Clintons pack their bags like the Beverly Hillbillies where they headed north, leaving a “little town called Hope, AR” in the dust.
When Hillary decided to run for President in the 2008 election she proved to not be out done by her husband Bill by directly lying to the American people about “flying into a war zone in Bosnia under sniper fire where she ran to her base with her head down.” This lie was caught on video tape that proved that she instead walked with her daughter Chelsea through a greeting ceremony and signed autographs.
While Secretary of State Hillary not only used private emails to hide the facts of the Benghazi investigation and correspond with rich donors and heads of foreign countries to funnel large donations to her Clinton Foundation, an organization that the IRS had no problems with approving, she also stood on a tarmac in front of four dead Americans and their families and blamed the Benghazi attacks on a video, quoting: “We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful internet video
that we had nothing to do with.”
The answer to the 3:00AM RED PHONE question “can Hillary be trusted” is no.
