Hillary Clinton Says Something Absolutely Insane

Hillary Clinton was in Boston trying to gin up support for the collapsing campaign for Governor of Martha Coakley.

This is pretty much what popular politicians do for other not-so-popular politicians… but then Hillary did something unexpected.

She went full-tilt insane and said,

“Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses create jobs,” Clinton said.

“You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics,’” she continued. “That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”

“You know, one of the things my husband says when people say ‘Well, what did you bring to Washington,’ he said, ‘Well, I brought arithmetic,’” Clinton said, which elicited loud laughs from the crowd.

Here is one simple way to test Hillary’s ridiculously stupid assertion. If there were no businesses… would there be any jobs? No, of course not!

Even Comedian Jon Lovitz get’s the concept that Hillary apparently misses.

We can understand what Hillary is trying to do – she wants to undermine Reaganomics and the standard for our economy over the last 35 years (minus the Obama years), so that she can redefine things during her upcoming Presidential campaign.

The problem for her is that this line of attack is very easily undermined – because it is simply stupid.

America has proof that “trickle-down” economics works; we understand it inherently and we’ve witnessed it over the last few decades. Our economy hums along when businesses are free to operate at full capacity – when socialism (er, I mean the government) gets in the way, the economy invariably falters.

Hillary Clinton is free to demagogue capitalism… but it’s not going to work.
