Here’s What We’re Reading July 19, 2014

We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

Trending: Who is Against Marijuana Legalization, and Why?

Don’t look now, but Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is solidifying his standing as a frontrunner for the Republican nomination for President. A recent poll shows that he and Mike Huckabee are the two most well liked (and well known) GOP candidates. Paul also seems to be the most likely GOP candidate to reach out to the African-American community, thanks to his tireless efforts to connect with black voters.

Vladimir Putin is running wild over Europe, and President Obama is spending his time fundraising – seems like the President’s priorities may be a bit mixed up.

Liberals are starting to get worried as some pundits start to remind folks that the 2014 midterms matter a lot more than you realize.

Are Republican voters ready to give Governor Rick Perry another shot at the White House?

Why have liberals become so anti-liberal in recent years?

Some new information on President Clinton’s nomination of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is shedding light on what its like to nominate a judge. The Clinton White House was very worried that Ginsburg was far too liberal to actually be confirmed… and Justice Ginsburg thought that conservative legal scholar Robert Bork was unjustly attacked during his confirmation hearings.
