Clinton Tries to Call Shots: ‘Trump Should Send Navy to Puerto Rico’

Since when does Hillary Clinton care about American citizens? Her most famous words are easily, “What difference does it make?” after American citizens were killed in Benghazi.

Her ship for calling the shots has sailed, but she is still trying to pull the strings. Clinton is calling on Trump and Defense Secretary James Mattis to deploy the U.S. Navy to Puerto Rico to help with hurricane relief efforts.

She did so in a tweet stating, “President Trump, Sec. Mattis, and DOD should send the Navy, including the USNS Comfort, to Puerto Rico now. These are American citizens.”

She also retweeted photos of those impacted by the storm.

Federal emergency relief resources are already strained after a wave of powerful storms hit the U.S. over the past few months including Hurricane Harvey and Irma.

Trump spoke with the governors of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands on Thursday, a day after declaring the impact of Hurricane Maria a major disaster.
