Former Vice President Joe Biden, whom I so fondly refer to as the creep (because have you seen how he acts around children?) is apparently trying to make it in the business of being a comedian.

At a campaign even for Virginia candidate Ralph Northam (for governor) he spoke about Obamacare and defended it. He said that Affordable Care Act brought many people a “peace of mind.”

Yeah, maybe the people who didn’t really understand how horrible it is.
Biden said, “Think of the peace of mind that this has brought to millions of people about to be ripped away.”
Oh please, ripped away? Using words like that makes it sound like people are actually losing something.
In reality, he is upset that the empire of chaos that he and Obama built is slowly being taken apart, brick by brick.I do not know a single person who has actually benefitted from the ACA. If anything, I know many people who could NOT afford health care because of the extremely crappy program.
Trump said Thursday the order is “starting [the] process” of repealing ObamaCare. It will be the “first steps to providing millions of Americans with ObamaCare relief,” Trump said.
Administration officials said the order is just the beginning of the administration’s actions related to the health-care law.
The executive order largely does not make changes itself. Instead, it directs agencies to issue new regulations or guidance. Those new rules will go through a notice and comment period that could take months, officials said.
Democrats criticized the move this week, warning that the order is part of Trump’s larger plan to “sabotage” the health-care law and accomplish on his own what Congress could not.
Obamacare caused healthcare costs to skyrocket. For many people, it became cheaper to just pay the fee to not have healthcare than to actually have healthcare.
Not to mention, many employers then cut down on employees and their hours because of the strict requirements. They could not afford to cover the employee’s health insurance, and therefore affected many people’s jobs as well.
Employers are forced to purchase expensive insurance packages at the risk of being fined. The law mandates to anyone employing 50 or more full-time employees to purchase federally standardized health insurance. This coverage is often very expensive because of the inclusion of a wide range of government-mandated benefits.
If businesses don’t offer the federally-approved coverage, they can be fined at a rate of $2,000 to $3,000 for each employee who isn’t covered. Employers deal with this by not absorbing the costs, but passing it on to their workers. How? By slashing hours, cutting wages, rolling back other benefits, and firing people with the least seniority.
