Biden Says Being VP is “a Bi***” then Slams former Defense Secretary for Criticizing Obama

Vice President Joe Biden is known for his always “colorful” personality and language. Even when he is talking about not knowing when to shut up – he says things that should probably never escape the mouth of such a high-ranking member of government.

He was speaking at Harvard last Thursday when during a Q&A with the students he said,

“Isn’t it a bitch, that Vice President thing? That was a joke. I’m joking, I’m joking. Best decision I ever made.”

The next day the Vice President moved on to bigger things – like slamming a man who served as Defense Secretary and CIA Director for speaking truth to power.

Trending: Who OWNS the Politicians and the Media?

Biden_brainFormer Obama administration official Leon Panetta has a book coming out soon called Worthy Fights wherein he attacks the Obama administration for their failure to sign a “status of forces agreement” with Iraq that would have left American troops there to assist Iraq’s nascent government.

“The White House [was] so eager to rid itself of Iraq that it was willing to withdraw rather than lock in arrangements that would preserve our influence and interests,” Panetta says in his book.

Speaking again at Harvard on Friday, Vice President Biden critized Panetta’s commentary.

“I’m finding that former administration officials, as soon as they leave, write books—which I think is inappropriate. I’m serious. I do think it’s inappropriate. At least give the guy a chance to get out of office.”

It’s interesting isn’t it?

I mean, the Vice President doesn’t attack the veracity of Panetta’s argument, he attacks the timing of Panetta’s argument. I don’t believe I saw this kind of hand-wringing from Biden when former Bush-era officials did the same type of things…in fact, liberals practically squealed glee when Bush officials dissented.

The problem, Mr. Vice President, is that Panetta is completely correct in his assessment – perhaps instead of attacking him for speaking the truth you should be apologizing for the many grievous errors of your administration.
