A Poem that isn’t About Hillary

Elaine I already miss you.
You trusted me to keep you on the earth but I did nothing to save you.
I’m sorry.
Not that I could have done better but there is some salutation
To the spirits in trying.
I didn’t try.
You are my mother-in-law and I should have watched over you better.
I let you go to the Assisted Living Home which you said would kill you.
That seemed stupid to me.
I thought you’d have company and attention.
I didn’t realize the power of your mind to boomerang on you with
A sharp blade
And cut the fingers of your life from your hand.
You were right.
I was wrong.
As that degenerate Hillary says, “What difference does it make?”
She does not deserve to be in this poem.
