Gay Business Mocks Job Applicant because she Went to a Christian College!

Let’s see if we learn about the hypocrisy of the Left from the latest attack on Christianity by the fascist gay lobby.

In Canada it is illegal to speak out openly against homosexuality, as Canada has strict hate-speech laws that generally only seem to apply to Christians and conservatives. So what happens when a liberal homosexual company/person turns the table and speaks out hatefully and mockingly of Christians?

Trending: Bad Hombres Apprehended Near Texas Border… Sex Offenders, Gang Members

Recently, Bethany Paquette, a graduate of Trinity Western University (a Christian college in Langley, B.C., Canada) applied to work for Amaruk Wilderness Corp. in British Columbia, Canada. However, the company’s hiring manager Olaf Amundsen replied that she was being rejected because  “unlike Trinity Western University, we embrace diversity, and the right of people to sleep with or marry whoever they want…. The Norse background of most of the guys at the management level means that we are not a Christian organization, and most of us actually see Christianity as having destroyed our culture, tradition and way of life.”

This instigated a chain of emails where Amundsen continued to write offensive anti-Christian comments.

‘God bless’ is very offensive to me and yet another sign of your attempts to impose your religious views on me.

bethany-paquette-olaf-amundsen-amaruk-wilderness-corpI do not want to be blessed by some guy… who has been the very reason for the most horrendous abuses and human rights violations in the history of the human race.”

Amundsen then used an expletive to state that if he met God, he would have sex with him.

Now, the wilderness company is trying to wriggle out of trouble with Canadian officials by saying that she did not meet the minimum requirements for the position – even though she is an experienced and accomplished outdoor and river guide.

Here’s the thing…

I think that any private organization is well within its rights to hire or not hire people based on whatever criteria they use. These same people should be allowed to speak their opinions without fear of lawsuit or government reprisal… but in Canada and Europe (and in parts of America) they cannot. Hate speech laws are most often used to bludgeon conservatives into silence and submission… so it is really hard for me to be upset when I see the same laws hurt liberal speech.

(Not to mention that the men who lead this wilderness company are obviously bigoted oafs who hate Christians without knowing anything about them.)

So while I loathe hate-speech laws… I won’t feel bad if this wilderness company crashes and burns because they chose to attack this poor girl with their bigoted and hateful anti-Christian views.

Now we’ll see if Canada’s hate speech laws really do apply to everyone or only to Christians and conservatives.
